Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Valenciaga started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Escualidos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luciano Valencia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escualidos FC's goalkeeper Eder Casares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Valenciaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eder Casares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Zacarias Gort in the 12th minute really tested Eder Casares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 14th minute, Fernanco Palomares made a precise shot to the right of Argider Galaz. Albaricales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Petri Villajane kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Pedro Valenciaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Albaricales's Damaso Loureiro got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Albaricales's zone, Petri Villajane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argider Galaz came out of the goal and Petri Villajane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Albaricales getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carlomagno Alda hit a great ball. Rutenio Tapia hit a great ball. Pedro Valenciaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eder Casares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zacarias Gort. After the first half Escualidos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petri Villajane to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Albaricales's Rutenio Tapia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 53rd match minute, Albaricales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutenio Tapia to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Escualidos FC's Karol Dula tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Albaricales's Zacarias Gort got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of Escualidos FC booed when Albaricales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Valencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eder Casares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Valencia in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petri Villajane in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Argider Galaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petri Villajane hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Petri Villajane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Luciano Valencia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albaricales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Valencia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Escualidos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
