In the 8th minute, UD Liga Nacional's Eztebe Ceniceros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 14 minutes, Eztebe Ceniceros made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Tanque Bolivariano's Medero Ayala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, El Tanque Bolivariano's goalkeeper Medero Ayala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hurko Maquibar. In the 17th minute, Eztebe Ceniceros made a precise shot to the right of Medero Ayala. El Tanque Bolivariano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Medero Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Porta in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Danilo Sande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Tanque Bolivariano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Robustiano Salina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ederono Bada having to make a save. Medero Ayala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viator Giner in the 40th minute. Eztebe Ceniceros scored 6-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Medero Ayala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, El Tanque Bolivariano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jago Areta to maneuver through the defense. UD Liga Nacional's Oliverio Jubera couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Tanque Bolivariano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

After some careless play in the El Tanque Bolivariano defense, Eztebe Ceniceros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Medero Ayala. The El Tanque Bolivariano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Medero Ayala should have stopped the shot. The supporters of El Tanque Bolivariano booed when UD Liga Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Indar Rabago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Hermo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Medero Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eztebe Ceniceros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Medero Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Porta in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the El Tanque Bolivariano defense, Viator Giner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Medero Ayala. The El Tanque Bolivariano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Medero Ayala should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Eztebe Ceniceros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Medero Ayala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eztebe Ceniceros in the 75th minute of play forced El Tanque Bolivariano's goalkeeper Medero Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Julian Porta notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of El Tanque Bolivariano's Medero Ayala. Medero Ayala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the game, Eztebe Ceniceros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-1. Medero Ayala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute Julian Porta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medero Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espiridion Venero kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Oliverio Jubera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Medero Ayala skillfully saved the ball. Medero Ayala came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Liga Nacional's Eztebe Ceniceros. But to his dismay, Eztebe Ceniceros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-1. After having played for 94 minutes, Viator Giner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Liga Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viator Giner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Viator Giner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Medero Ayala was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-1. UD Liga Nacional's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
