Humberto Ben came out of the goal and Demesio Quiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Che Granell hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Deportivo Nirgua FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Demesio Quiroz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Donio Villacis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donio Villacis might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Ben. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 96th match minute, Corcado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Zumel to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Nirgua FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corcado FC.
