In the 12th minute Indartsu Sayas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medero Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Tanque Bolivariano's Danilo Sande got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espiridion Venero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aires Viramontez having to make a save. El Tanque Bolivariano's Medero Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deunoro Bozo in the 22nd minute of play. Venerando Torrado charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venerando Torrado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, El Tanque Bolivariano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venerando Torrado to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the El Tanque Bolivariano defense, Indartsu Sayas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Medero Ayala. The El Tanque Bolivariano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Medero Ayala should have stopped the shot. Aires Viramontez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Sande went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to JS Valdevielso getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Deunoro Bozo hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, El Tanque Bolivariano's Aires Viramontez threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danilo Sande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aires Viramontez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venerando Torrado in the 45th minute of the match. Venerando Torrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aires Viramontez having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Sande made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, El Tanque Bolivariano's goal looked a bit too open when Indartsu Sayas came free, but Medero Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aires Viramontez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Sande in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josias Basterra in the 55th minute of play forced El Tanque Bolivariano's goalkeeper Medero Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medero Ayala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deunoro Bozo in the 61st minute. Medero Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indartsu Sayas in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, JS Valdevielso's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Sande came free, but Aires Viramontez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for El Tanque Bolivariano. 90 minutes into the match, JS Valdevielso's goal looked a bit too open when Venerando Torrado came free, but Aires Viramontez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medero Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indartsu Sayas in the 96th minute of the match.
