After some careless play in the El Tanque Bolivariano defense, Roger Bannister kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Medero Ayala. The El Tanque Bolivariano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Medero Ayala should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger Bannister kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Medero Ayala. That made the score 6-0 in the 27 minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Espiridion Venero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Endrick de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
