The audience thought a goal was coming when Chorche Costoya got free with Giovanni Koninkx in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giancarlo Mori placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Giancarlo Mori might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benet Gurruchaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giancarlo Mori ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gorosti Escajedo during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute Macias Artechevezuen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Koninkx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Dravon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chorche Costoya came free, but Giovanni Koninkx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tabay FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dravon FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
