Rosalio Rendain charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosalio Rendain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vinotinto F.C's Rosalio Rendain got a free kick in the 18th minute. Froylan Colomo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Roland Meleon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Mauriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinotinto F.C's Anselmo Mauriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Meleon in the 25th minute of play. Teodoro Alvadalejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Mauriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froylan Colomo in the 31st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Meleon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timeteo Giribet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauargi Astudillo having to interfere. Deportivo San Cristóbal's Gauargi Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo San Cristóbal from getting a goal against them. Rutenio Sobejano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Teodoro Alvadalejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mambru Legorburu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
