When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Basilio Zubiaga sped through Taguaiguai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silbestre Repiso. Basilio Zubiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Zubiaga in the 10th minute of play. Gonzo Sedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Silbestre Repiso managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Gonzo´s FC's Basilio Zubiaga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Basilio Zubiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Basilio Zubiaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Silbestre Repiso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Taguaiguai's goalkeeper Silbestre Repiso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Zubiaga. If Gonzo Sedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso got control of the ball when Basilio Zubiaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Taguaiguai's zone, Gombal Moñiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silbestre Repiso came out of the goal and Gombal Moñiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Basilio Zubiaga took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Silbestre Repiso to make any attempt to save it. Basilio Zubiaga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silbestre Repiso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silbestre Repiso made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Basilio Zubiaga sent off a good shot on target. Gonzo Sedillo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Silbestre Repiso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonzo´s FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Silbestre Repiso came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzo´s FC's Basilio Zubiaga. But to his dismay, Basilio Zubiaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Gonzo´s FC's Basilio Zubiaga in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taguaiguai's goalie prevented a goal. If Basilio Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzo Sedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Taguaiguai's zone, Basilio Zubiaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silbestre Repiso came out of the goal and Basilio Zubiaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Gonzo Sedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silbestre Repiso. Taguaiguai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzo Sedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Hanot Irizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzo´s FC's Gonzo Sedillo managed to work through Taguaiguai's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gonzo Sedillo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Hanot Irizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Taguaiguai's zone, Ibon Ocomardia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silbestre Repiso came out of the goal and Ibon Ocomardia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Hanot Irizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gonzo´s FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Sedillo in the 95th minute of play. Ibon Ocomardia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Repiso having to interfere. Gonzo´s FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
