Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolome Maujo started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Foro Villegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taguaiguai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo San Cristóbal the free kick. Foro Villegas kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Roland Meleon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Silbestre Repiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Meleon in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Meleon in the 10th minute of play forced Taguaiguai's goalkeeper Silbestre Repiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso got control of the ball when Erauso Mazarredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Horado Jiron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Foro Villegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taguaiguai's Foro Villegas got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Foro Villegas off the ground. Mambru Legorburu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Meleon in the 30th minute of play forced Taguaiguai's goalkeeper Silbestre Repiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silbestre Repiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Meleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Deportivo San Cristóbal's Roland Meleon got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erauso Mazarredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Repiso having to interfere. With a little luck, Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso got control of the ball when Erauso Mazarredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silbestre Repiso made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Erauso Mazarredo sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Taguaiguai's goalkeeper Silbestre Repiso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erauso Mazarredo. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
52 minutes into the game, Jorge Solana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taguaiguai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo San Cristóbal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Taguaiguai's Jorge Solana got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Txindoki Maza charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Txindoki Maza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Txindoki Maza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mambru Legorburu's late challenge caught a Taguaiguai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mambru Legorburu helped the player get up and apologised. Mambru Legorburu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Silbestre Repiso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Meleon in the 65th minute of the match. Bartolome Maujo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauargi Astudillo having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Taguaiguai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txindoki Maza to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erauso Mazarredo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silbestre Repiso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Taguaiguai's goal looked a bit too open when Erauso Mazarredo came free, but Silbestre Repiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes, Roland Meleon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Bartolome Maujo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taguaiguai's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
