The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Gonzo´s FC got a freekick which was hit by John Maya. The supporters of Gonzo´s FC booed when Almirante Brion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponce Viera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Basilio Zubiaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gonzo´s FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gao Wei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzo Sedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Gonzo´s FC's Garci Sobaler seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Garci Sobaler the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gonzo´s FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Garci Sobaler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 13 played minutes Gonzo´s FC got a freekick which was hit by Garci Sobaler. When Aires Romay came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Almirante Brion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aires Romay couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Almirante Brion getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leoncio Polo hit a great ball. Gonzo Sedillo succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Gao Wei Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzo Sedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 38th minute, Gonzo Sedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzo Sedillo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Gonzo Sedillo took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Gao Wei Jing to make any attempt to save it. Hanot Irizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gao Wei Jing having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ponce Viera to strike the kick off in the second half. Gao Wei Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanot Irizar in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanot Irizar in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gao Wei Jing saved Almirante Brion from getting behind. 61 minutes into the game, Hanot Irizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gao Wei Jing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hanot Irizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Hanot Irizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gao Wei Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Hanot Irizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Gao Wei Jing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzo´s FC's zone, Ponce Viera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demesio Maceda came out of the goal and Ponce Viera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Maya in the 72nd minute of play forced Almirante Brion's goalkeeper Gao Wei Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Gonzo Sedillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonzo´s FC and the Almirante Brion players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Gonzo´s FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzo Sedillo. Gonzo Sedillo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Ponce Viera came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Almirante Brion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponce Viera couldn't finish the play. Gonzo´s FC made a substitution. Raymon Monesterio replaced Zorion Sisquella. If Gonzo Sedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzo Sedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gao Wei Jing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Gonzo´s FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzo Sedillo to maneuver through the defense. Gao Wei Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanot Irizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Almirante Brion's zone, Gonzo Sedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gao Wei Jing came out of the goal and Gonzo Sedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gao Wei Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Maya in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gonzo´s FC had played much better football throughout.
