Deportivo San Cristóbal's Gauargi Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Zumalburu in the 22nd minute of play. If Andrew Zumalburu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Deportivo San Cristóbal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horado Jiron to maneuver through the defense. Gauargi Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Dino Machuca sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erauso Mazarredo in the 34th minute of play forced Dos Caminos SC's goalkeeper Senon Malta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gauargi Astudillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Machuca in the 40th minute. The supporters of Deportivo San Cristóbal booed when Dos Caminos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chesus Pareja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erauso Mazarredo, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Meleon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrew Zumalburu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dino Machuca came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Dos Caminos SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Machuca couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Deportivo San Cristóbal's Erauso Mazarredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Senon Malta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 61st minute, Roland Meleon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dino Machuca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gauargi Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Andrew Zumalburu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Meleon struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Senon Malta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo San Cristóbal. After some careless play in the Deportivo San Cristóbal defense, Dino Machuca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gauargi Astudillo. The Deportivo San Cristóbal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gauargi Astudillo should have stopped the shot. Maximo Alcain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federigo Serdio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Andrew Zumalburu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dos Caminos SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo San Cristóbal the free kick. Andrew Zumalburu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Dos Caminos SC's Dino Machuca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gauargi Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Dos Caminos SC booed when Deportivo San Cristóbal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joao Salazano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Cristóbal's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Zumalburu came free, but Gauargi Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
