Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Ildefonso Somarriba made the kick off and thus started the match. Josias Tocalanza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcia Olivan having to interfere. After 9 played minutes The Americans got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Somarriba. In the 10thth minute of the game Vicente Machuca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Americans's Garcia Olivan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Americans's Garcia Olivan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llorienzo Diez in the 12th minute of play. Garcia Olivan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josias Tocalanza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Garcia Olivan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorienzo Diez in the 16th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Zulia FC got a freekick which was hit by Llorienzo Diez. Zulia FC's Zorion Cepeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obeko Vara in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Zulia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Obeko Vara came free, but Zorion Cepeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garcia Olivan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josias Tocalanza went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Garcia Olivan came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Zulia FC's Renaldo Trueba. But to his dismay, Renaldo Trueba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Vicente Machuca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garcia Olivan. The Americans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Machuca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Machuca made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Zulia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Somarriba came free, but Zorion Cepeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josias Tocalanza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute of the game Sidoro Palomeque made a throw-in which Ildefonso Somarriba played forward. In the 64th minute, Josias Tocalanza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garcia Olivan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Josias Tocalanza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Josias Tocalanza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Garcia Olivan. The goal made the score 0-7. Llorienzo Diez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Llorienzo Diez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garcia Olivan. The Americans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Llorienzo Diez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Llorienzo Diez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 played minutes The Americans got a freekick which was hit by David Villalaud. Zorion Cepeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obeko Vara in the 89th minute of play. Zorion Cepeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Somarriba in the 93rd minute of play. Sidoro Palomeque made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ildefonso Somarriba immediately put the ball in play. In the 97th minute, Obeko Vara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zulia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
