Isaio Silio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Isaio Silio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Galicia's Leonel Mesquita. But to his dismay, Leonel Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Isaio Silio made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Sven-Åke Granberg sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Fedele Melani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaio Silio. Fedele Melani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 20th minute, Deportivo Galicia's Leonel Mesquita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaio Silio. Isaio Silio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Isaio Silio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Melani in the 23rd minute of the match. Deportivo Tachira's Isaio Silio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Mesquita in the 26th minute of play. Leonel Mesquita scored 5-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaio Silio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Leonel Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaio Silio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaio Silio made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sven-Åke Granberg sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Åke Granberg got free with Isaio Silio in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Sven-Åke Granberg took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Isaio Silio to make any attempt to save it. Xosepe Juarrero's late challenge caught a Deportivo Galicia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xosepe Juarrero helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Deportivo Tachira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Galicia:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Melani in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaio Silio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Mesquita made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leonel Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaio Silio was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After some careless play in the Deportivo Tachira defense, Sven-Åke Granberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaio Silio. The Deportivo Tachira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaio Silio should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Jurand Cwenar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Isaio Silio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaio Silio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Cwenar in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tachira's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Granberg came free, but Isaio Silio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Fedele Melani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaio Silio was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Tachira's zone, Svanbjörn von den Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaio Silio came out of the goal and Svanbjörn von den Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
