Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vicente Machuca kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Zulia FC's Llorienzo Diez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Llorienzo Diez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zulia FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Llorienzo Diez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of Zulia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zulia FC. Benat Doblas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes, Zulia FC's Gavino Colunga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Galo Caroll came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zulia FC reached it. Renaldo Trueba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Galo Caroll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cambranes Veraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gavino Colunga fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zulia FC's protests and gave Gavino Colunga a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Zulia FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Colunga. Zorion Cepeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porfiro Idiaquez in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zulia FC's Josias Tocalanza got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfiro Idiaquez in the 22nd minute of play forced Zulia FC's goalkeeper Zorion Cepeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Josias Tocalanza fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zulia FC's protests and gave Josias Tocalanza a yellow card for diving instead. Josias Tocalanza kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Galo Caroll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josias Tocalanza's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Zorion Cepeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tartalo Lecuona in the 33rd minute of the match. Zorion Cepeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cambranes Veraza in the 36th minute of play. Galo Caroll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Machuca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo Caroll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Machuca in the 41st minute of the match. Mergildo Olaisola's late challenge caught a Zulia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mergildo Olaisola helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zulia FC booed when Zulia Caracas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mergildo Olaisola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Porfiro Idiaquez to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Zulia FC's goalkeeper Zorion Cepeda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cambranes Veraza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Machuca in the 54th minute of play forced Zulia Caracas F.C.'s goalkeeper Galo Caroll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zulia Caracas F.C.'s Galo Caroll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Machuca in the 55th minute of play. Galo Caroll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Machuca in the 59th minute of the match. Galo Caroll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josias Tocalanza went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Vicente Machuca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galo Caroll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Zulia Caracas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Xavieon Blasini came free, but Galo Caroll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Zulia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Machuca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Zulia Caracas F.C.'s zone, Josias Tocalanza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galo Caroll came out of the goal and Josias Tocalanza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Benat Doblas in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zulia FC's Gavino Colunga. A collision led to Zulia Caracas F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Porfiro Idiaquez hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Vicente Machuca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galo Caroll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Machuca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galo Caroll having to interfere. Benat Doblas made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cambranes Veraza. Galo Caroll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Machuca in the 85th minute of play. Galo Caroll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Munibe in the 88th minute of the match. Galo Caroll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Machuca's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Josias Tocalanza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galo Caroll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Machuca in the 94th minute of play. Zulia FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
