Damaso Mañes took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Marcha. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calisto Uruñuela to make the kick off. With a little luck, Petrol Latinoamérica's Cordarryl Peralta got control of the ball when Fidel Beyso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Calisto Uruñuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petrol Latinoamérica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
