When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Linus Löv sped through Parguaza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aimar Salaya. After a rather tough play, Zulia F.C's Garoa Quejo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ihazintu Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Trigueros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Pawel Dybala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aimar Salaya came out of the goal and Alberino Algorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Miguel Olmo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parguaza's protests and gave Miguel Olmo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Parguaza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Olmo to maneuver through the defense. Aimar Salaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Dybala in the 88th minute of the match. Zulia F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
