An unexpectedly hard shot by Lizardi Blea in the 6th minute of play forced Yberia's goalkeeper Fausto Bedoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Yberia's goal looked a bit too open when Noe Belmonte came free, but Fausto Bedoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yberia getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lisandro Cardeña hit a great ball. Fausto Bedoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noe Belmonte in the 12th minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Zarando Orellana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yberia and the Escurra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Escurra booed when Yberia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarando Orellana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Escurra's Constancio Arostegui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Bedoya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escurra reached it. In the 26th minute Noe Belmonte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Bedoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yberia's Baldomiro Costeras got a free kick in the 30th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Lizardi Blea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escurra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lizardi Blea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noe Belmonte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lisandro Cardeña fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yberia's protests and gave Lisandro Cardeña a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Lisandro Cardeña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constancio Arostegui, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Escurra's zone, Matteo Obregon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Marcha came out of the goal and Matteo Obregon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Yberia booed when Escurra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Vilaplana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Marcha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo Obregon, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Yberia's Fausto Bedoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noe Belmonte in the 87th minute of play. Lizardi Blea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fausto Bedoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orti Baul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hilario Marcha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute Noe Belmonte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Bedoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yberia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Escurra had controlled the match.
