Rayman Tellez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Hilario Marcha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Hilario Marcha managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when C.D.P.'s Rudolfo Giraldez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Escurra getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Noe Belmonte hit a great ball. Hilario Marcha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudolfo Giraldez went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Natal Burcena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noe Belmonte in the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hodei Guernica during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Escurra booed when C.D.P. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hodei Guernica didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
