Thanks to some nice moves Gamus Airoldi could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Polo Oropesa however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Legión Vinotinto FC's Polo Oropesa got control of the ball when Gamus Airoldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Ebardo Herencia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ebardo Herencia in the 43rd minute of play forced Legión Vinotinto FC's goalkeeper Polo Oropesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gamus Airoldi came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Polo Oropesa could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hurko Ageitos was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Legión Vinotinto FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Peter Quijada hit a great ball. Gamus Airoldi scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Polo Oropesa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tavio Zumarraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Oropesa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Legión Vinotinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Zumar Yaner. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Gamus Airoldi sped through Legión Vinotinto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Polo Oropesa. Ebardo Herencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Polo Oropesa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gamus Airoldi in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polo Oropesa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Legión Vinotinto FC's Peter Quijada got a free kick in the 88th minute.
