Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Taboada started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Akos FC's goalkeeper Jerrold Casquete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Tomi Cerrajero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mineros de Guayana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akos FC the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Mineros de Guayana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomi Cerrajero to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Laje, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jorge Taboada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raimundo Narganes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Romano in the 12th minute of the match. Gustavo Montalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Montalvo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Narganes. Raimundo Narganes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mineros de Guayana FC's Abel Fontoria got a free kick in the 20th minute. Pascual Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Narganes having to interfere. Abel Fontoria hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Beltza Lezama hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Raimundo Narganes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Romano in the 28th minute of the match. Abel Fontoria kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pascual Romano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Narganes was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Jorge Taboada might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerrold Casquete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Taboada ran back to his position shaking his head. Nesto Biempica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Tristan Bilbao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Bilbao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emesto Goma during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Akos FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Emesto Goma hit a great ball. Jerrold Casquete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Taboada went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 46 minutes, Mero Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akos FC and the Mineros de Guayana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mineros de Guayana FC booed when Akos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mero Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerrold Casquete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesto Biempica in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Romano to make the kick off. Tristan Bilbao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Narganes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Mineros de Guayana FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Fontoria. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sustrai Zartucha during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo Narganes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Laje, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Abel Fontoria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mineros de Guayana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Fontoria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Narganes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorge Taboada 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. When Akos FC's Tristan Bilbao in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mineros de Guayana FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jerrold Casquete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Taboada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerrold Casquete came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mineros de Guayana FC's Jorge Taboada. But to his dismay, Jorge Taboada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Jorge Taboada took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerrold Casquete. Jerrold Casquete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Mineros de Guayana FC's zone, Gustavo Montalvo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Narganes came out of the goal and Gustavo Montalvo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Mineros de Guayana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Bilbao came free, but Raimundo Narganes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Abel Fontoria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Akos FC's zone, Abel Fontoria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrold Casquete came out of the goal and Abel Fontoria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
