The tension between the Cambullon and the Mineros de Guayana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mineros de Guayana FC booed when Cambullon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oton Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Narganes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinten Murillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Quinten Murillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mineros de Guayana FC's Jon Riesgo was substituted for Sustrai Zartucha. After a rather tough play, Cambullon's Eugenio Meca got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Nesto Biempica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Mineros de Guayana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cambullon:s goal. Beltza Lezama hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Raimundo Narganes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oton Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cambullon's Emenon Haza got control of the ball when Abel Fontoria tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nesto Biempica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mineros de Guayana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nesto Biempica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emenon Haza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emenon Haza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesto Biempica in the 53rd minute of play. Cambullon's Emenon Haza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Riesgo in the 61st minute of play. Quinten Murillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Narganes having to interfere. Abel Fontoria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emenon Haza having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nesto Biempica in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emenon Haza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emenon Haza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Taboada in the 91st minute of the match. When Oton Polo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cambullon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oton Polo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Fontoria in the 95th minute of play forced Cambullon's goalkeeper Emenon Haza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Abel Fontoria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Emenon Haza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cambullon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
