Edgard Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Akerman in the 23rd minute of the match. Arne Teuben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Santervas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obrero Barquisimeto's Arne Teuben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Orășan in the 32nd minute of play. Arne Teuben stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Orășan's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Marcos Akerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xspark Academy's Edgard Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florin Răducioiu got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arne Teuben handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Florin Răducioiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Teuben having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Santervas in the 41st minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xspark Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdo Santervas in the 42nd minute. A well done corner resulted in George Orășan drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florin Răducioiu was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Xspark Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Akerman came free, but Edgard Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Teuben made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Florin Răducioiu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Răducioiu in the 58th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Jiang Lin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Teuben was a little too slow when Florin Răducioiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-4. The supporters of Xspark Academy booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurde Buiza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Teuben was a little too slow when Castel Areces got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-7. The Obrero Barquisimeto supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Xspark Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Xspark Academy.
