An unexpectedly hard shot by Aires Laguno in the 40th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Obrero Barquisimeto booed when Atlético de Caracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball.
