After some careless play in the Estudiantes de Merida FC defense, Saturnin Garrido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Moscoso. The Estudiantes de Merida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Moscoso should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Patryk Lange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mineros de Guayana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute, Saturnin Garrido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Moscoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Mineros de Guayana's Patryk Lange in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patryk Lange in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Moscoso saved Estudiantes de Merida FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Patryk Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Patryk Lange cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rafael Moscoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mineros de Guayana's Saturnin Garrido in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rafael Moscoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Patryk Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Moscoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Xorxe Llarena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mineros de Guayana's Baltasar Espada got control of the ball when Hanot Piña tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patryk Lange stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Saturnin Garrido took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Rafael Moscoso to make any attempt to save it. Patryk Lange hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rafael Moscoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Rafael Moscoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patryk Lange showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 62 minute of play. If Cristobal Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Mineros de Guayana's Patryk Lange got a free kick in the 69th minute. Rafael Moscoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnin Garrido in the 71st minute of play. Raymond Areces kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, Mineros de Guayana's Cristobal Mendebal made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Moscoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Saturnin Garrido fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Estudiantes de Merida FC's Rafael Moscoso got control of the ball when Saturnin Garrido tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pepe Sal fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de Merida FC's protests and gave Pepe Sal a yellow card for diving instead. Estudiantes de Merida FC's Rafael Moscoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de Merida FC from getting a goal against them. Estudiantes de Merida FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Patryk Lange scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Moscoso, making the score, 0-10. 86 minutes into the match, Patryk Lange notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Estudiantes de Merida FC's Rafael Moscoso. Rafael Moscoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Wielopolski in the 90th minute of play forced Estudiantes de Merida FC's goalkeeper Rafael Moscoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mineros de Guayana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gartxot Mateu in the 92nd minute.
