In the 5th minute Real Unión CF were awarded a corner. Cebo Segura went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th minute Liu Cheng Kang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Espada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Mineros de Guayana's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Isadore came free, but Baltasar Espada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Unión CF's Wilfredo Heli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Real Unión CF from getting a goal against them. Baltasar Espada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dasep Arkananta in the 16th minute of play. Wilfredo Heli was a little too slow when Saturnin Garrido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnin Garrido in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Heli saved Real Unión CF from getting behind. After 26 minutes of play, Real Unión CF's Marz Pedros made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Espada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltasar Espada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Cheng Kang in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Mendebal in the 35th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Wilfredo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Saturnin Garrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Heli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnin Garrido in the 46th minute. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marz Pedros hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patryk Lange got free with Wilfredo Heli in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Real Unión CF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Baltasar Espada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dasep Arkananta, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Mineros de Guayana's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Cheng Kang came free, but Baltasar Espada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Mendebal came free, but Wilfredo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnin Garrido in the 67th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Wilfredo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Cristobal Mendebal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mineros de Guayana's Baltasar Espada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Mineros de Guayana from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Mineros de Guayana's goal looked a bit too open when Dasep Arkananta came free, but Baltasar Espada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Mineros de Guayana's Vicente Ciencabrero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vicente Ciencabrero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mineros de Guayana protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vicente Ciencabrero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mineros de Guayana:s Baltasar Espada showed great skill when he stopped Cebo Segura:s penalty. In the 95th minute, Patryk Lange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Heli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Real Unión CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
