Reinaldo Holliday in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calvin Godfrey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute, Francisco Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Reinaldo Holliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Godfrey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Holliday could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Calvin Godfrey made a huge save. Reinaldo Holliday in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calvin Godfrey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rudolf Poe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudolf Poe to strike the kick off in the second half. If Reinaldo Holliday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Wilmer FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Wilmer FC's Rudolf Poe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reinaldo Holliday sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Newcomb's late challenge caught a Wilmer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Newcomb helped the player get up and apologised. Santos Newcomb hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Devin Grier came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Wilmer FC's Rudolf Poe. But to his dismay, Rudolf Poe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Santos Newcomb hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Manteca booed when Wilmer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Case didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Wilmer FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilbur Fairchild. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Art Farr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wilmer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Art Farr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Devin Grier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Manteca's Francisco Matos got a free kick in the 91st minute.
