Elvis Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Pruett, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Edmundo Whitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Elvis Vigil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Edmundo Whitt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Haltom City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
