Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Theron Barger started the match with the kick off. Johnny Ciccaglione didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theron Barger went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rico Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walton Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to ROUS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luciano Miles hit a great ball. Percy Geiger struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rico Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROUS. When Stewart Story came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the ROUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stewart Story couldn't finish the play. Rico Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Geiger in the 24th minute of the match. Rico Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stewart Story in the 37th minute of play. Percy Geiger might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rico Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percy Geiger ran back to his position shaking his head. Johnny Ciccaglione made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Gaston in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ROUS's Luciano Miles got a free kick in the 47th minute.

After 60 played minutes ROUS got a freekick which was hit by Russell Cruz. Stewart Story could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Rico Rosa made a huge save. After 63 played minutes ROUS got a freekick which was hit by Percy Geiger. After 65 minutes, Winfred Best mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Ridge and the ROUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, River Ridge's Winfred Best got a free kick in the 65th minute. Walton Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Rosa having to interfere. Walton Hansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. River Ridge's Rico Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stewart Story in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Eldon House shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Ciccaglione saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rico Rosa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by ROUS's Stewart Story. But to his dismay, Stewart Story quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 97th match minute, River Ridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winfred Best to maneuver through the defense. The ROUS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented River Ridge from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
