Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nathan Babcock made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to West Longview FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Taylor Zepeda hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Riley in the 6th minute of play forced West Longview FC's goalkeeper Willie Moore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Prior Lake got a corner. West Longview FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dexter Blevins ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Napoleon Riley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prior Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Riley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in West Longview FC's zone, Alfredo Emerson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willie Moore came out of the goal and Alfredo Emerson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Napoleon Riley came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Prior Lake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Riley couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Prior Lake getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Quinton Jarrett hit a great ball. Nathan Babcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Delgado having to interfere. Jacques Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basil Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Rudy Mason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Dexter Blevins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and West Longview FC's Willie Moore didn't even have to move. Napoleon Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Napoleon Riley to make the kick off. Nathan Babcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jacques Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willie Moore came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Prior Lake's Alfredo Emerson. But to his dismay, Alfredo Emerson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Basil Beckman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jacques Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Longview FC. Napoleon Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacques Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Babcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prior Lake's Quinton Jarrett got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Quinton Jarrett off the ground. After a rather tough play, Prior Lake's Quinton Jarrett got a free kick in the 78th minute. West Longview FC's Nathan Babcock got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basil Beckman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Willie Moore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Emerson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. West Longview FC's Willie Moore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Emerson in the 95th minute of play. Prior Lake were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of West Longview FC for a fine match.
