Littleton's Quinn Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Dutton in the 21st minute of play. Frankie Love sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Frankie Love mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smithville AFC and the Littleton players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Littleton booed when Smithville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Love didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Frankie Love shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinn Bernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Dutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Smithville AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
