Leonard Gipson might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurence Goodrich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Gipson ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurence Goodrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Gipson in the 38th minute of the match. Los Altos FC's Glenn Ernst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clay Coffman in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Billy Mobley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Ernst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 51 minutes, Billy Mobley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forsyth and the Los Altos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Forsyth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Mobley to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Sergio Alvaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Altos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forsyth the free kick. A collision led to Los Altos FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sergio Alvaro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Billy Mobley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsyth's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Mobley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Ernst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clay Coffman got free with Glenn Ernst in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Stefan Kendrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Altos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Gipson in the 65th minute of play forced Forsyth's goalkeeper Laurence Goodrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Rudolf Greene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Gipson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Goodrich having to interfere. Leonard Gipson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurence Goodrich. Laurence Goodrich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 90 minutes into the match, Los Altos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Mobley came free, but Glenn Ernst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Gipson in the 93rd minute of play forced Forsyth's goalkeeper Laurence Goodrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stefan Kendrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Altos FC had won after a very even match.
