Rob Ferris came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Big Lake's Julio Abril. But to his dismay, Julio Abril quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Mario Kempes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rob Ferris. Oregon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Kempes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 12 minutes into the match, Oregon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Kempes came free, but Rob Ferris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Dariusz Gurgul put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Ferris. After a rather tough play, Big Lake's Maxwell Slater got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Mario Kempes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rob Ferris. Rob Ferris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Gurgul in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Dariusz Gurgul put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Ferris. Mario Kempes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Ferris having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Dariusz Gurgul put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Ferris. In the 30th minute Dariusz Gurgul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Ferris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Gurgul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Ferris having to interfere. Shelton Rushing kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Oregon FC's Jeremy Mayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dwight Ortega. Dwight Ortega yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. If Ari Spears had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Kempes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rob Ferris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Dariusz Gurgul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oregon FC's Rob Ferris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rob Ferris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Gurgul in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oregon FC's zone, Julio Abril stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Ferris came out of the goal and Julio Abril tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rob Ferris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Gurgul in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dariusz Gurgul to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Oregon FC's goalkeeper Rob Ferris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Scot Richard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dariusz Gurgul got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-8 in the right cross in the 62nd match minute before Rob Ferris had time to react. Dariusz Gurgul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Rob Ferris made a huge save. In the 73rd minute of the match, Bailey Tang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rob Ferris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Dariusz Gurgul could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Rob Ferris however easily saved by the left post. Rob Ferris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Abril in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Oregon FC's goalkeeper Rob Ferris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dariusz Gurgul. Mario Kempes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Oregon FC's goalkeeper Rob Ferris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bailey Tang.
