If Derek Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graig Stanley during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Country Club booed when DSB Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graig Stanley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Espinosa struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Quintin Snider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DSB Kickers United. George Gaston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Lake in the 16th minute of the match. Quintin Snider made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wilson Clement sent off a good shot on target. Quintin Snider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Espinosa in the 20th minute. Domenico Espinosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Ingmar Saia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leland Valenzuela took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Gaston. George Gaston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Winfred Zeigler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George Gaston. DSB Kickers United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. George Gaston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leland Valenzuela in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Country Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenico Espinosa to strike the kick off in the second half. With 55 minutes on the clock, Ingmar Saia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of DSB Kickers United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Country Club:s goal. Bruce Espinosa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! George Gaston came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Country Club's Elliott North. But to his dismay, Elliott North quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Domenico Espinosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintin Snider having to interfere. George Gaston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocco Lake in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute Rocco Lake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Gaston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When DSB Kickers United's Domenico Espinosa in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Country Club's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Country Club's Bruce Espinosa got a free kick in the 85th minute. After recieving a nice pass, DSB Kickers United's D.J. Wetzel tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Quintin Snider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Espinosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Winfred Zeigler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Gaston skillfully saved the ball. 97 minutes into the game, one of DSB Kickers United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The DSB Kickers United manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Country Club to win.
