Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Donovan Ernst might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Grove. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donovan Ernst ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute, Jaime Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 11 in the game by Donovan Ernst from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Grove managed to make a qualified save. College's players were relieved. In the 16th minute, Hans Arias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Grove. The goal made the score 2-0. Honalo's Marcus Hanna shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gilberto Grove but with some difficulty. Honalo's Dirk Lutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Handy in the 26th minute of play. Gilberto Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Ernst in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Deon Tang managed to get in a good position for a shot. College's supporters rose to their feet, but Deon Tang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Lutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ed Ramos during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Honalo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ed Ramos hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Leonard Duke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dirk Lutz skillfully saved the ball. 36 minutes into the match, College's goalkeeper Gilberto Grove had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Arias. Donovan Ernst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donovan Ernst had several of the College's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Gilberto Grove as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donovan Ernst to make the kick off. Honalo's Hans Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. College's Gilberto Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Martinez in the 62nd minute of play. Hans Arias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Grove having to make a save. Hans Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Grove having to interfere. When Honalo's Hans Arias in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye College's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Ernst in the 78th minute of play. Donovan Ernst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gilberto Grove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donovan Ernst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Grove having to interfere. Gilberto Grove came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Honalo's Donovan Ernst. But to his dismay, Donovan Ernst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. There was no doubt that Honalo were the better team. Honalo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
