Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mitchell Handy got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of College booed when Kalamazoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Smalls didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, College's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roosevelt Ortega fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 9th minute Bill Smalls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. College's Gilberto Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill Smalls in the 17th minute of play. Markus Uhl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deon Tang in the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Roosevelt Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalamazoo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roosevelt Ortega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalamazoo's Markus Uhl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Handy in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Roosevelt Ortega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Grove, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darell Dawkins in the 30th minute of play forced Kalamazoo's goalkeeper Markus Uhl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, College's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Smalls came free, but Gilberto Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Grove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bill Smalls's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Kristofer Rubin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristofer Rubin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Kristofer Rubin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kristofer Rubin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. The supporters of College booed when Kalamazoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristofer Rubin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, College's Gilberto Grove got control of the ball when Roosevelt Ortega tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by DeMarcus Day during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th match minute, College was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeMarcus Day to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roosevelt Ortega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roosevelt Ortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Earl during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, College was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Earl to maneuver through the defense. Roosevelt Ortega struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gilberto Grove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalamazoo. In the 66th minute Allen Harper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deon Tang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Markus Uhl made a huge save. If Roosevelt Ortega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roosevelt Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiley Winter hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Kalamazoo's Sidney Worthington in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye College's goalie prevented a goal. Ed Adkins hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Leonard Duke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, College was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeMarcus Day to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kalamazoo booed when College was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darell Dawkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes College's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ed Adkins who took care of the corner kick. Kalamazoo's Ed Adkins was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Grove in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee ended the match the Kalamazoo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
