When Barry Glenn came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Tiptonville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Glenn couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Beltre in the 15th minute of play forced Tiptonville FC's goalkeeper Shelton Lowry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Beltre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shelton Lowry having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Beltre in the 35th minute of play forced Tiptonville FC's goalkeeper Shelton Lowry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tiptonville FC's zone, Bryant Bliss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shelton Lowry came out of the goal and Bryant Bliss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryant Bliss struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Shelton Lowry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prattville. Curtis Connelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walker Burroughs in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sean Beltre made the kick off in the second half. If Bryant Bliss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Walker Burroughs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Neal Braden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiptonville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neal Braden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shelton Lowry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryant Bliss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walker Burroughs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Curtis Connelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walker Burroughs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Tiptonville FC's Barry Glenn got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Tiptonville FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
