A collision led to Hot Springs Village getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Donovan Lee hit a great ball. Salvador Tillman in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zane LeBlanc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 7th minute, Wilber Boyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Richter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tad Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Wadsworth got a freekick which was hit by Noel Mohr. Tad Espinoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Richter, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Hot Springs Village's goal looked a bit too open when Trent Hutchins came free, but Zane LeBlanc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trent Hutchins was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Wadsworth's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Dominique Bragg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hot Springs Village's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Bragg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Wadsworth got a freekick which was hit by Trent Hutchins. Zane LeBlanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Hutchins in the 31st minute of play. Trent Hutchins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tad Espinoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Bragg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dominique Bragg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tad Espinoza was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Tad Espinoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Richter, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Felipe Richter got in the 44th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tad Espinoza handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Wilber Boyer's late challenge caught a Wadsworth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilber Boyer helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of Wadsworth booed when Hot Springs Village was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber Boyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hot Springs Village's Felipe Richter, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hot Springs Village. Dominique Bragg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tad Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hot Springs Village's Noel Bernard got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Hutchins in the 75th minute of play forced Hot Springs Village's goalkeeper Zane LeBlanc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dominique Bragg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felipe Richter came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hot Springs Village fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Richter couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominique Bragg got free with Tad Espinoza in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Hutchins in the 88th minute of play forced Hot Springs Village's goalkeeper Zane LeBlanc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Wadsworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Reaves to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Wadsworth's goalkeeper Tad Espinoza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominique Bragg. Wadsworth's Tad Espinoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Richter in the 95th minute of play.
