Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Archie Krause took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jessie Mosley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilbur Norris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jessie Mosley in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Adrian Shultz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Archie Krause managed to get in a good position for a shot. Citrus Springs's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Krause was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilbur Norris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jessie Mosley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyrus Hodge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Norris having to interfere. Archie Krause struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Wilbur Norris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Citrus Springs. The supporters of Citrus Springs booed when Connecticut Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. D.J. Brewster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derrick Rowell kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Jessie Mosley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Citrus Springs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jessie Mosley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Connecticut Stars's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cyrus Hodge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Karol Skonieczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Shultz in the 36th minute of play. Jessie Mosley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wilbur Norris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Connecticut Stars getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Robert Ramirez hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Abraham Suggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilbur Norris was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jessie Mosley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Shultz to make the kick off. Wilbur Norris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jessie Mosley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilbur Norris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Krause, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. D.J. Brewster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Karol Skonieczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derrick Rowell charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Derrick Rowell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Derrick Rowell hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Wilbur Norris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessie Mosley in the 67th minute of play. When Connecticut Stars's Adrian Shultz in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Karol Skonieczny guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Connecticut Stars's Wilbur Norris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Hodge in the 74th minute of play. Archie Krause took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilbur Norris. Wilbur Norris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Citrus Springs's Karol Skonieczny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Citrus Springs from getting a goal against them. Cyrus Hodge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Norris having to interfere. A collision led to Connecticut Stars getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tomás Cavalcante hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Citrus Springs's Archie Krause nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilbur Norris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cyrus Hodge scored 4-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilbur Norris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, D.J. Brewster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Citrus Springs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
