Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tommie Winn kicked off to start the match. Rick Frost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Rodger Singletary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonathon Seymour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute Shamokin FC were awarded a corner. Boyd Grant went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Watchung's goalie and right to Rick Frost. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Watchung's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 7 minutes into the game, Jerrod Dean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shamokin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watchung the free kick. After a rather tough play, Shamokin FC's Jerrod Dean got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Tommie Winn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Shamokin FC's Jonathon Seymour in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Watchung's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute Jonathon Seymour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodger Singletary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonathon Seymour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Donnie Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shamokin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donnie Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodger Singletary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Watchung defense, Jonathon Seymour kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodger Singletary. The Watchung fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodger Singletary should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jonathon Seymour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodger Singletary was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Rick Frost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Rick Frost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodger Singletary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Frost in the 44th minute of play forced Watchung's goalkeeper Rodger Singletary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Watchung booed when Shamokin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerrod Dean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathon Seymour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Jonathon Seymour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Watchung's Rodger Singletary was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Watchung's Rodger Singletary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Watchung from getting a goal against them. After 63 played minutes Watchung got a freekick which was hit by DeAngelo William. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jonathon Seymour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shamokin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathon Seymour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodger Singletary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Skinner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. The Shamokin FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Shamokin FC's Jonathon Seymour looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 71 minutes into the match, Watchung's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Frost came free, but Rodger Singletary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jerrod Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Watchung's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Jonathon Seymour scored to the left of an out of position Rodger Singletary, making the score, 0-4. In the 79th minute Donnie Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodger Singletary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Frost in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodger Singletary saved Watchung from getting behind. When Shamokin FC's Jonathon Seymour in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Watchung's goalie prevented a goal. A well placed Rick Frost short distance shot in the 87th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 92 minutes in the game, Rick Frost fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodger Singletary having to interfere. In the 94th minute Jonathon Seymour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodger Singletary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tomas Key managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shamokin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Key was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodger Singletary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shamokin FC played a much better game than Watchung and deserved their victory. The Watchung players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
