Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilbur Herndon started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Tom Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Atlanta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chicago Pierogi's zone, Wilbur Herndon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvis Yang came out of the goal and Wilbur Herndon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvis Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilbur Herndon in the 26th minute of the match. Wade Rucker hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Wilbur Herndon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Elvis Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of North Atlanta FC booed when Chicago Pierogi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Handy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilbur Herndon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. 43 minutes into the match, Chicago Pierogi's goalkeeper Elvis Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaine Hawk. If Caleb Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terrance Zimmerman struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Thanh Bustamante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicago Pierogi.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Darron Voss managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Atlanta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darron Voss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvis Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pierre Handy kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Blaine Hawk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaine Hawk scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvis Yang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When North Atlanta FC's Wilbur Herndon in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chicago Pierogi's goalie prevented a goal. Caleb Souza's late challenge caught a North Atlanta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caleb Souza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of North Atlanta FC booed when Chicago Pierogi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caleb Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Burch charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Burch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virgilio Hightower placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Elvis Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbur Herndon in the 73rd minute of play. Thanh Bustamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrance Zimmerman in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Wilbur Herndon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvis Yang was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Elvis Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaine Hawk in the 81st minute of play. Elvis Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbur Herndon in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Chicago Pierogi's goal looked a bit too open when Blaine Hawk came free, but Elvis Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilbur Herndon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Yang having to interfere. Elvis Yang came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by North Atlanta FC's Blaine Hawk. But to his dismay, Blaine Hawk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Elvis Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaine Hawk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that North Atlanta FC were the better team. North Atlanta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
