An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Mock in the 6th minute of play forced Classic Strikers XI's goalkeeper Leroy Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Quentin Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leroy Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leroy Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin McCloud in the 22nd minute. Leroy Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Mock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rick Mock hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. J.C. Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rosario Friedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leroy Duarte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Christian Keenan. 29 minutes into the match, Kalaheo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Woodruff came free, but Rosario Friedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Terry Woodruff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Friedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, J.C. Morrison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Classic Strikers XI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 37 played minutes Classic Strikers XI got a freekick which was hit by Yong Staton. Leroy Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Mock in the 38th minute of play. Rosario Friedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Woodruff in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rick Mock was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Classic Strikers XI booed when Kalaheo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Wray didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Classic Strikers XI's Nathanial Petty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Yong Staton hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Rosario Friedman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terry Woodruff went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Leroy Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin McCloud in the 71st minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Kalaheo FC's goalkeeper Rosario Friedman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terry Woodruff. A collision led to Kalaheo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Quentin Henry hit a great ball. Kalaheo FC's Rosario Friedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Morrison in the 94th minute of play. Classic Strikers XI's Stephan Sprague shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rosario Friedman but with some difficulty.
