Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when J.C. Morrison made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shane Townsend during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tory Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.C. Morrison in the 3rd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, J.C. Morrison notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Tory Barr. Tory Barr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Peapack and Gladstone AFC's zone, Terry Woodruff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tory Barr came out of the goal and Terry Woodruff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nathanial Petty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tory Barr came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Classic Strikers XI's Terry Woodruff. But to his dismay, Terry Woodruff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Tory Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Morrison in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Classic Strikers XI's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cary Ash fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kris Acero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leroy Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Terry Woodruff struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tory Barr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classic Strikers XI. Tory Barr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terry Woodruff's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 36th match minute, Peapack and Gladstone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Briggs to maneuver through the defense. J.C. Morrison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tory Barr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Tory Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Woodruff, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Tory Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Woodruff in the 41st minute of play. Terry Woodruff struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tory Barr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classic Strikers XI. After 44 played minutes Peapack and Gladstone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hugh William. In the 45th minute of the match Yong Staton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tory Barr showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tory Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.C. Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Terry Woodruff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tory Barr having to interfere. J.C. Morrison might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tory Barr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. J.C. Morrison ran back to his position shaking his head. Classic Strikers XI's Thomas Sorensen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Shane Townsend, made in the 59th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the game, J.C. Morrison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tory Barr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nathanial Petty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tory Barr having to interfere. With a little luck, Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Tory Barr got control of the ball when J.C. Morrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Peapack and Gladstone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Briggs to maneuver through the defense. Todd Crowder shot from long distance in the 79th minute, but Tory Barr was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terry Woodruff in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tory Barr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's Tory Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Morrison in the 81st minute of play. After 89 played minutes J.C. Morrison rounded Peapack and Gladstone AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. 95 minutes into the match, Classic Strikers XI's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Acero came free, but Leroy Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Peapack and Gladstone AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Classic Strikers XI's performance. The match ended with a win for Classic Strikers XI.
