The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peapack and Gladstone AFC. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Kalaheo FC. Denny Roark stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tory Barr. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Franklin McCloud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalaheo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin McCloud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tory Barr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peapack and Gladstone AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
