After 3 played minutes SCORPIO 1990 got a freekick which was hit by Damon Bateman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Busch in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robby Mills prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lonnie Chaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robby Mills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lonnie Chaney in the 13th minute of play. Rolland Means kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Brock Dickinson made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Damon Bateman sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Saugerties South's Stefan Stout seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stefan Stout the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Saugerties South protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stefan Stout had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saugerties South! The audience was convinced that Dale Busch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robby Mills was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Busch in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robby Mills saved SCORPIO 1990 from getting behind. Robby Mills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolland Means, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Saugerties South's Dale Busch in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SCORPIO 1990's goalie prevented a goal. Brock Dickinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezra Coffey's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Saugerties South's goalkeeper Brock Dickinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damon Bateman. 39 minutes into the match, SCORPIO 1990's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Busch came free, but Robby Mills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ramon Travis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saugerties South's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Travis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robby Mills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robby Mills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Busch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Busch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Saugerties South's Dale Busch, in the 56th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Saugerties South. SCORPIO 1990's Robby Mills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SCORPIO 1990 from getting a goal against them. Rolland Means received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Robby Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dale Busch in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robby Mills, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. SCORPIO 1990's Robby Mills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SCORPIO 1990 from getting a goal against them. Dale Buschs short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Robby Mills to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rolland Means kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Saugerties South's goal looked a bit too open when Oren Matthews came free, but Brock Dickinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robby Mills was a little too slow when Ramon Travis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-2. Dale Busch took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robby Mills. Robby Mills dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, SCORPIO 1990's Robby Mills got control of the ball when Rolland Means tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Saugerties South could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SCORPIO 1990 throughout the match.
