Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andy Kent started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Luke Garrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Mercer's Jim Link sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hal Lin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mercer getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dennis Guthrie hit a great ball. Sidney Rossi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adolfo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Devin MacDonald, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jim Link received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hal Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hal Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Garrett in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Bennifit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Link came free, but Hal Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes, Dennis Guthrie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercer and the Bennifit FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th play minute Rudolf Major came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bryon Whitten. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Hal Lin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jim Link sent off a good shot on target. In the 55thth minute of the game Luke Garrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bennifit FC's Hal Lin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luke Garrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Bennifit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Garrett came free, but Hal Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Major struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Bryon Whitten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bennifit FC. Hal Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Garrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Luke Garrett who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Hal Lin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rudolf Major received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bryon Whitten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luke Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hal Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Garrett in the 91st minute of play. If Jim Link had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bennifit FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Adolfo Perez hit a great ball.
