After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jorge Weaver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stevenson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Weaver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Clinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Munson's late challenge caught a Stevenson AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Munson helped the player get up and apologised. Palmer Law received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Josef Clinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Stevenson AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arnoldo Rosenberg hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sergio Boyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Parsons was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Rockingham's Sergio Boyd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Parsons. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Rockingham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stevenson AFC the free kick. The supporters of Stevenson AFC booed when Rockingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Boles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Palmer Law notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rockingham's Josef Clinton. Josef Clinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palmer Law was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Keith Stafford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Boyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Keith Stafford notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rockingham's Josef Clinton. Josef Clinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Rockingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Munson to maneuver through the defense. Palmer Law fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Clinton having to interfere. Josef Clinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keith Stafford in the 77th minute. Cristobal Munson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rockingham getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alfred Boles hit a great ball. Keith Stafford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Clinton having to interfere. When the match was over Stevenson AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rockingham throughout the match.
