When Len Denson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pomeroy AFC's protests and gave Len Denson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barnwell FC booed when Pomeroy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Len Denson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willie Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Craig Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willie Santiagos short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Craig Proctor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 12th match minute, Barnwell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scottie Merritt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barnwell FC's Thaddeus Reagan got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Chase Kessler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Craig Proctor. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 24th minute Chase Kessler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Proctor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Craig Proctor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Willie Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riley Stephenson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sol Mann's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Sol Mann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Riley Stephenson was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Pomeroy AFC's Benito Zeigler got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Lazaro Booth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnwell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazaro Booth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sol Mann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurtis Brewster in the 52nd minute of play forced Barnwell FC's goalkeeper Craig Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Riggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chase Kessler in the 63rd minute of play forced Barnwell FC's goalkeeper Craig Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justin Carney kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chase Kessler in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Chase Kessler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pomeroy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chase Kessler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Proctor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Willie Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pomeroy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willie Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Pomeroy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chase Kessler. Riley Stephenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sol Mann in the 94th minute of play. Craig Proctor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chase Kessler in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Pomeroy AFC were the better team. Pomeroy AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
