Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kirk Myers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Zachery Roche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aidan Barnard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Schwartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Myers in the 5th minute of play. Fox River Grove's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kirk Myers 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Fox River Grove's Bernardo Schwartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Fox River Grove from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Schwartz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Saunders's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fox River Grove's goalkeeper Bernardo Schwartz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kip Schaffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, one of Fox River Grove:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fox River Grove. Rolland LeBlanc walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zachery Roche to make the kick off. Kip Schaffer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aidan Barnard firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Kip Schaffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aidan Barnard made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Kip Schaffer sent off a good shot on target. Aidan Barnard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachery Roche in the 67th minute of the match. Carlos Saunders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Carlos Saunders sped through Fox River Grove's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Schwartz. After 76 minutes, Carlos Saunders made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fox River Grove's Bernardo Schwartz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, River Road's Aidan Barnard got control of the ball when Kip Schaffer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Nathan Moreland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerry Hooper was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Zachery Roche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aidan Barnard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, River Road's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kip Schaffer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Zachery Roche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fox River Grove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Road the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Zachery Roche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Fox River Grove got a freekick which was hit by Quinton McLeod. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fox River Grove players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River Road.
