Brendon Edmondson in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendon Edmondson got free with Wilmer Medley in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnathon Rodriquez made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Reynaldo Kitchen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes North Brookfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Pritchard. In the 68th minute, Gilbert Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quinton Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stacy Chin in the 69th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Dorchester Select's Brendon Edmondson made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilmer Medley was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Brandon Ortiz notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of North Brookfield AFC's Wilmer Medley. Wilmer Medley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th match minute, North Brookfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Hebert to maneuver through the defense. When Johnathon Rodriquez fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Brookfield AFC's protests and gave Johnathon Rodriquez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to North Brookfield AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Johnathon Rodriquez hit a great ball. Dorchester Select's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
