Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Lyle Elder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Greer in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Nolan Pujols got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lyle Elder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 12 played minutes Wolf Lake got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Eastman. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Deshawn Wilkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plymouth Pilgrims's supporters rose to their feet, but Deshawn Wilkinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Granger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Plymouth Pilgrims booed when Wolf Lake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerry Burke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plymouth Pilgrims's Deshawn Wilkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giuseppe Carney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Giuseppe Carney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rdth minute of the game Giuseppe Carney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolf Lake's Denny Granger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Roberto Cotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyle Elder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Greer in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ben Greer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Plymouth Pilgrims's Roberto Cotton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 56th minute Ben Greer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Elder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roberto Cotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Plymouth Pilgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Pujols came free, but Lyle Elder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyle Elder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nolan Pujols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Wolf Lake's Denny Granger got control of the ball when Roberto Cotton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wolf Lake's zone, Roberto Cotton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denny Granger came out of the goal and Roberto Cotton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Plymouth Pilgrims getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Giuseppe Carney hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Roberto Cotton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Denny Granger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Plymouth Pilgrims made a substitution. Doug Barron replaced Roberto Cotton. Ismael Eastman made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Plymouth Pilgrims's Glenn Rose. Denny Granger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blair Hawley in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Nolan Pujols managed to get in a good position for a shot.
